How they pay
Jackpots only fire inside Hold & Spin
A Phoenix in base play is a credit, a jackpot word, or both a tick on the 1888 meter. The Mini, Minor, Major and Grand meters themselves pay when that word (or stack of words) locks in Hold & Spin. Six Phoenix credit symbols start a paid round. The mystery meter can gift a free round with leftover birds still on the window — including a lone Major. Line hits do not dump the Grand.

Hold & Spin is closer to Lightning Dollar Link than to Dragon Link. Phoenixes print either a cash value — the live cabinet on this page shows $30, $60, $120 — or a jackpot word: MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, GRAND.
One Phoenix can carry more than one progressive. Two Majors on the same bird is a double. Three is a triple. Aristocrat and the venue floors (Oaklawn, Fallsview, Encore) all publish that double/triple path for Mini, Minor and Major. Grand is the scaling top prize, not the advertised stack.

Every Phoenix in base play ticks the Phoenix Mystery / Phoenix Free Feature counter. It must hit before 1888. It can fire earlier. The prize is a free Hold & Spin — the same four meters, not a separate jackpot.

Aristocrat ships extra denominations and configs on Phoenix Link. The published coin ladder is 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 25c, $1 and $2, plus high-limit versions of the same four titles. Grand is larger on the higher dens. The listed US bet window is 50c–$125; The Baron in NSW and ACT shows its own button deck.
A fatter Grand is stored value in the pool. It is not a signal that the next spin is due. RTP on land-based Phoenix Link sits in the 87%–95% PAR band — long-run return, not a Grand hit-rate.
